BitComet is prolly the best bittorrent client around but has recently been banned from some private bittorrent trackers for sharing peers over them.
New version 0.58 gives users the choice to enable or disable that feature, but will it be enough to convince tracker owners of unbanning BitComet or will BitComet author have to implement more security like the new Azureus did (see http://azureus.aelitis.com/wiki/index.php/SecureTorrents)?
In the meanwhile we want to go on using our beloved BitComet. So here are 2 peerID spoofing patches that make BitComet announce itself as other fa-mous bittorrent clients : BitTornado v0.3.12 or official BitTorrent v4.0.1 -> No more ban for BitComet!
